The efficient use of resources for production and utilisation of our products has always been the focus at HOBART. Possible resource optimisation is amongst the most important properties of our machines and is an essential factor for our customers.
An Integrated Management System (IMS) was introduced in 2013 to support this orientation in the protection of the environment. It is based on the structures of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, that exists since 1996 and contains the two certifications ISO 14001 (environment management) and ISO 50001 (energy management).
With the specific analysis and monitoring of the environment and energy-relevant variables, we can achieve the yearly redefined management sustainability goals. The resulting insight influences a continuous improvement process. TÜV certifications, regular internal audit reports and the yearly auditing of the systems are the basis for the observation of the defined requirements.
Based on these certifications, we ensure that all national and international laws, directives and standards are observed. Through our annual publication of the sustainability report we want to inform you of the development in the environment and energy section and of corresponding product improvements.
